Niagara-on-the-Lake has a Remembrance Day Ceremony for legionnaires, politicians, veterans, and townspeople to pay tribute to soldiers who gave up their lives in defence of Canadian values and freedom. Canada is a land of immigrants who share and show their love for this country and respect the freedoms that we have. Our veterans are heroes to all Canadians.  The cenotaph at Niagara-on-the-Lake was dedicated on January 1, 1970.
