About Allison Baker:

Allison Baker is the head of research at The Walrus magazine. She is a fact checker, copy editor, and producer based in Tkaronto. She is a recipient of the 2021 Michener–L. Richard O’Hagan Fellowship for Journalism Education. Since 2016, she has produced Mi’kmaq Matters, a podcast about the Mi’kmaw people, politics, land, and water of so-called Newfoundland.

Allison Baker est chef de la recherche au magazine The Walrus. Elle est vérificatrice de faits, rédactrice en chef et productrice basée à Tkaronto. En 2021, elle a reçu la bourse Michener-L. Richard O’Hagan pour l’enseignement du journalisme. Depuis 2016, elle produit Mi’kmaq Matters, un podcast sur le peuple mi’kmaq, la politique, la terre et l’eau de ce qu’on appelle Terre-Neuve.
