We’re looking for a reporter to cover the recent announcement about Atlantic Canada’s immigration ministers welcoming asylum seekers. A potential angle would be to see the progress after a week. See how many people are accepted, what plans they are going implement, and whether or not they anticipate needing more social security resources. Another question could be seeing how much of this effort is a humanitarian move vs an attempt to fix the labour crisis.
