Reham Teama

The story starts with an Egyptian woman who is recognized in Canadian society as an entrepreneur, author and entrepreneurship instructor. Has a bachelor degree in business administration from the university of Alexandria, followed by post graduate degree in cost and managerial accounting and a second degree in tourism guidance from the faculty of tourism.

Reham Teama started working when she was a university student back in 2002 and she has been working since then. She gained her work experience for about 20 years in more than 4 countries in 4 different continents.

She started off in the administration field, followed by the export and sourcing field prior to her relocation to Dubai. In Dubai, she worked for multinational corporations. Also, had her journey as an entrepreneur for 3 years and finally worked for the Italian government as a trade analyst between 2014-2016. In Canada, she worked as a marketing manager for the Italian newspaper and multilingual case facilitator for a multinational insurance company.

In 2019, she decided to resign from corporate life and pursue her dream as an entrepreneur. She has run 2 small businesses successfully since then; the first in food consultancy and brokerage and the second one in the publishing industry.

She faced many challenges throughout her life. First when she lived in Dubai as an expat and then as an immigrant in Canada. The lack of Canadian work experience and Canadian education were the two main challenges that prevented Reham from pursuing her career path. Reham has a real spirit of a self-made entrepreneur . She relied on the idea of starting her new business as an alternative path that she followed to overcome the job market challenges.
Reham's main hobby is writing. She developed her skills in creative writing and became recognized as a talented author.
In 2016, she was awarded as the best volunteer of the city of Toronto after she volunteered for over 100 hours within her first 6 month in Canada as a newcomer.

Her advice is to believe in yourself, never stop dreaming and work on your dreams until they are visible realities.
